It has been a whirlwind year so far - wow! It has been a very busy year with so many things happening. I have expanded my reach of putting my art in various places. I have art in some of my favorite stores in Alabama, and my favorite gallery in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I had my first art show of the year last week, the first of many this year. With our very hot summers, I do one in May and the rest in the fall! When we hope it gets cooler but we never know for sure in the south! I have added a gallery of Joy to my website, these are small gallery wrapped canvases 4”x4” to 8”x8” “little happies” I call them. They are all ones with small encouraging sayings on them, as everyone needs an encouraging note everyone now and again. My youngest son is graduating high school, and he will be attending Sewanee in the fall! We are super excited about that. A new journey of "empty nesters” will be a new experience for us! I will be traveling to England in June to visit with my family and to collect inspiration for my new collections! Our family also found out that we are to have an added addition to our family in January! It will be the first time for us to have the experience of being grand parents! whoop whoop!! So much happening in our lives which always leads to new inspiration for my artwork, and I never quite know how it will transpire in my art! So it will surprise for artist and viewer lol!

Thank you to all my supporters and customers that have bought my art, pillows and tote bags - it has been such a delight to see people enjoying the things I create! I love to add some beauty and happiness to others lives in a very small way!
